ici.

The ici. bookmark is part of a project that deals with the memory of objects.

In this case the memory is ambiguous: on the one hand our ability to remember our stopping point in a book. On the other hand the paper itself that remembers the fold, and keeps the folding mark as evidence of an action. 

​

ici. imitates the familiar corner folds (dog-ears) in books.

There is a back and forth process: while the corner folds are meant to replace bookmarks, ici. replaces them back.
