Braxton Groover is an urban bike helmet that allows listening to music safely on the go.

 

Bicycle riders in my city don't usually wear bike helmets. Headphones, however, are everywhere. This questionable habit exposes them to twice the risk: sound isolation and no protective gear.

 

Growing up in a family of musicians, music is a big part of my life. That's the reason I chose to focus my design around the headphones without settling on safety.

 

Wide-field motion sensors implemented inside the Braxton Groover continuously scan the surroundings, and alert from nearby vehicles approaching out of sight via vibration.

The helmet was selected to be exhibited at the "On The Edge" exhibition at the Bloomfield Science Museum Jerusalem in 2018.
